Jersey Boys Tour

Critically acclaimed and Broadway smash hit ‘Jersey Boys’ will cement itself as both the 25th and 26th longest running musical in the Great White Way this weekend. On June 25, after its Saturday performance, the musical will topple the current 26th longest running show in Broadway, Abie’s Irish Rose, with 2,328 runs. The day after, ‘Jersey Boys’ will then take the throne from ‘Man of La Mancha’ as the 25th longest running show when it breaks the 2,329-perfromance record after its June 26, Sunday performance.

It is no surprise that ‘Jersey Boys’ is able to surpass two Broadway staples, after all, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is the toast of theatre and performing circles worldwide after garnering acclaims from the Tony Awards, the Olivier Awards and even the Grammy Awards for Best Show Album. And while it continues to run in its Broadway home at the August Wilson Theatre for almost six years now, it also manages to give other shows a run for their money all over the world, from New York to Las Vegas, to all across the U.S, to across the pond in the UK and down under in Australia, this musical is making 12.5 million people walk like a man, fast as they can, making ‘Jersey Boys’ a billion-dollar grossing show since its world premiere in 2005.
